Based on Isa. 61: 1-3, WCFN has the ambition to empower the least. By raising funds to support Word Trust, WCFN aims to support education to help the least to overcome poverty and suffering. From this Biblical perspective, it is envisaged through the instruction the students receive to build them with strong Christian values.
Together with its co-foundations in North-America and Canada, WCFN aims to raise funds to support the Word Trust in India. In this respect, WCFN aims to collect at least EUR 60K a year.
– Sponsoring The income of the foundation stems from sponsors supporting the mission and vision of the foundation.
– Funding the local project in India The money earned by the foundation will be distributed to the local project in India on a quarterly basis and upon demand of the director of the local project.
– Internal costs and remuneration of the board In order to maximize the support of the local project, the foundation strives to reduce the internal costs to a minimum. It is stated in the statutes of the foundation that the board will receive no remuneration. Next to that, the board has agreed not to claim any cost allowance. Consequently, the only expenses of the foundation will relate to actual expenses needed to support the project and the continuation of the sponsoring.
– Accountability The Treasurer of the foundation will handle the bookkeeping of the foundation. The bookkeeping will be reviewed by the Board of Directors every quarter. The company is handling the four-eye-principle for every financial transaction. The Board of Directors is always entitled to ask for insight in the bookkeeping and the bank account. The foundation will prepare financial statements every year. The financial statements will be discussed with the advisory board and approved by the Board of Directors. The foundation will further publish the financial statements on its website.
